Proposed Rezoning of 801 Lincoln Ave.
Planning and Zoning Commission held a public meeting on Oct. 19, 2017 to consider approval for rezoning 801 Lincoln Ave. from residential, General Suburban, to a Planned Development District, which will be a mix of commercial and more urban uses for this land. The proposed PDD was passed by Planning and Zoning Commission on October 19, which also voted against the proposed change to the Eastgate Neighborhood Plan during the same meeting. However, both items are now headed to the City Council on November 9, 7:00 p.m. at City Hall for a final decision on both. If the change to the Eastgate Neighborhood Plan takes place, there will be a through street from University Drive pouring cut-through traffic into the neighborhood.
