      ABOUT US

The College Woodlands Neighborhood Association's purpose is to foster cooperation and a spirit of community among the areas historically known as the College Hills Woodlands Subdivision, the Woodland Acres Subdivision, the Woodland Estates Subdivision, and any adjacent subdivisions which would like to participate.  These subdivisions were established in the late 1930s and early 1940s as quiet, wooded, family lots.  It is our desire to preserve and enhance the original character of the neighborhood by encouraging maintenance and development that reflects and honors the heritage of the community and to sustain it for future generations.

Historic home moved to Ashburn from Texas A&M campus

This historic home on Ashburn Ave.  was moved off campus and added onto by the family that still owns it today. Originally it served as a residence for faculty members.  Click the link above to see the first map of College Station. Because it predates the subdivision by one year, our neighborhood does not yet show on this map.

College Woodlands Neighborhood Association was chartered in 1998 by the City of College Station.  Click the buttons to the right to see the Association charter and bylaws.

The Neighborhood Association currently includes 9 subdivisions, located in the heart of the historic Eastgate Neighborhood.  Click the button above to see a boundary map of the association with the subdivisions marked or a brochure about the neighborhood that can be shared with others.

The Neighborhood Association has one annual business meeting each Spring.  See minutes of the most recent meeting  by clicking the button.
