Phase 1

​

Glenhaven Ave. to Shady Lane -- Completed after lengthy delays owing to the contractor defaulting on the contract.  Once the city identified a new company to take over work and complete this segment, it was determined that the original Phase 2 would be delayed to give the people on this end of Francis some relief from the construction process.

Phase 2 (expected to last 9 months from start in mid June 2020)

Munson Ave. to Walton Ave. -- Completed in spring 2021.

Shady Lane to Munson Ave. --   Began in March 2021.  The project was completed in Fall 2021

 

Phases 3 and 4

To view all updates regarding the Francis Drive Rehabilitation project, visit cstx.gov/francis.  Future phases include the segment around Mabel Clare Thomas Park and the remaining segment to Texas Ave.  The latter segment will likely not be completed until after City Hall has finished construction, per city staff.
